Bubble World

Have you ever seen an ad that oversold something? Well, apparently my aunt did. To be fair, whoever created the ad was smart and targeted it towards children. While browsing Facebook, my aunt saw an ad for a cool experience called “Bubble World”. During my aunt and little cousin Zoe’s visit to LA for the Holidays, we were figuring out what to do so the little kiddo won’t be bored. So we decided to check out this Bubble World. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the ad. But there were some parts I could highlight from this experience at least.

The first highlight of this exhibit was a balloon room. I mean, its not everyday you have a ton of balloons in the same locations. We had fun smacking each other in the face with these helium inflated plastic spheres of fun.

Next is this really pretty pathway full of cool lighting and effects. It was a section that screamed “I was made to get people social media likes,” but I admired the design and work that must’ve went into creating this.

Oh, the most fun we had here was at this ball pool. It’s like a ball pit, but….a pool. The design of this pool was a little questionable though. As you can see from the picture below, it clearly looks as if there is a giant man relaxing in the pool. In the middle, you see something protruding out that kids can climb on. If you’re familiar with the human body and have a dirty mind like me, I’m sure you can connect the dots as to what the adults of the group were thinking.

So was bubble-world a fun experience? Yes. Was it worth the money? Hell no. It was a rip-off. We spent a whopping $35 per ticket for something that lasted 50 minutes. But even though it was not worth the money, I can at least say I had fun with my family.
