On October 31st, 2023, I was laid off from my tech job. I spent the next few days in self-reflection and thinking of my next move. But to keep myself busy during the job hunt, I thought of finally starting a blog.

At first, this was going to be a blog dedicated to my life updates, but I wanted to create something a little more interesting. I’ve always been someone who was interested in analyzing stories. As opposed to writing about whether or not you would enjoy a story like a typical review, I found it more entertaining to write about what a story tries to communicate to the world.
